Delegate Check-in
With your app, we have created an easy electronic check-in system to help deliver and validate your delegates.

This is a helpful tool to give people access to be a Check-in manager and access resources the day of.
Adding Check-in Managers
Through the DT Admin App
Select Manage Users and edit their user Select the "CheckInManager" checkbox and click Update User.
Through your District Toolbox
Head to https://records.districttoolbox.com/Manage/Users/All-Users Find the user and under Actions select "Add as Check-in Manager"
Your check-in managers including District users will see a button in their side-menu in the app (three lines at the top right) that says "Manage Check-in".
Checking Delegates In
Your Manage Check-in List will display a list of all active delegates. When you click on a delegate, a QR code will be displayed. This is a unique QR code for each delegate.
The delegate will open up their app and click "Check-In" from their side-menu. This will open up their phones camera to scan the QR code. This must be done through your District App and not their phone's camera app.
When the QR is scanned, their phone will vibrate and display a message witht their unique Voter ID.
From that point on, the delegate can head back to the Check-In screen and their Voter ID will continue to display.
If you have other QR codes around yoru check in table (e.g. Foundry Packet), be sure to keep those away from Delegates who are scanning the Check-in code.
Manual Check-in Delegate
In the event a delegate doesn't have a unique device (using someone elses device) or they are having troubles getting checked-in, you can choose to manually check someone in.
Click the "Manual Check-in" link at the top of the Manage Check-in page on your app.
Click on the checkbox next to their name in the list and they will be checked in. Their Voter ID will display on your screen. Write that down and communicate that to the delegate.
Resetting Check-in
For some devices (mostly Samsung phones), they choose to check-in automatically with a random string instead of their assigned Voter ID. Theere is a button located on the Checked-in Screen to check-in again which will open up their phones camera again to scan a QR code and overide any current code.
Resetting a User's Checked-In Status
If you need to update a user account with a different Voter ID or mark them as not checked in, head to the DT Admin app and click Manage Users. Once you edit the user, you will see a VoterID text field and a checkbox that says "CheckedIn". You can set both of those values to empty and update the user.
