User Management

User Management is and will always be the hardest part of the Toolbox. No matter what District you are, we all love to forget passwords, lock ourselves out, and more.

This screen will allow you to reset a password, send a reset email, and more.

You will see a grid of all the various roles and what users have what access. Each part of the Toolbox can be given access to individuals.

Available Roles

PASTOR Default role when anyone creates an account. They can view the Pastor Dashboard and edit their selected Church Directory info.

STUDENT Role added to an individual when they are added to the Ministerial Studies system. A Pastor can have a Student role in adittion to a Pastor role.

Account Creation

Pastors and District personnel can create an account by going to TOOLBOX_DOMAIN.COM/create-account

e.g. app.districttoolbox.com/create-account

The access code for registraiton is your district abreviated name followed by "Pastors"

e.g. WAPACPastors

You should have received this information when your Toolbox was first deployed. Contact us if you are unsure of what your access code should be.

Once an account is created, the user will display in the Manage > Users page and you can give the relevent access for District personnel.

Password Management

Users can utilize the "Forgot Password" option in case they need to reset their password. This sends an auto-generated email to them. This often can be flagged as spam.

In the event they do not receive this email, you can manually resend the reset email (select the option of Send Password Reminder under Other Actions dropdown of their user) or you can change their password by clicking "Reset Password". This will generate a random password for them and display it on your screen. Please copy and paste this new password and communicate the new password to them.

I get an error when resetting their password

If the user has locked their account, it will be unable to reset their password. User accounts are unlocked automatically after 24 hours of being locked. You can wait until that happens to try again or contact us and we can help reset their password for you.
